Just finish today’s WOD in 5:00 flat. 50 back squat, 50 dead lift @ 225lbs. Go to failure then switch. Im stoked b/c I was feeling a bit like a metabolic trash can today before WOD and still managed the 50 DL unbroken. I will rest, eat and Trigger Point today so I can attack it again tomorrow.
One of my goals is to make it to the CrossFit Regionals, so I’m ramping it up as the open approaches. I did Annie in the morning ( 8:55 ) I know it’s lame but du’s are my Achilles lol. At lunch time I had an awesome swimming WOD, 25,50,75,100,75,50,100 with push-ups sit-ups and squat between lengths. In the evening I hit a 5x3 push jerk and some 80lb. dumbbell snatch 5x5. To top it off I threw in 6 sets of alternating dips (10) and L-sits (10 sec) and I’m toast. Today, I truly gave it my all
The CrossFit open is right around the corner and I’m psyched! This will be my first chance to put my hard work to the test and see just where I stack up with all my fellow CrossFitters. I know I’m working hard and I’m sure you are too! Let me know what your doing to take your training to the next level for 2012!
How do you make a 1 minute lunch? I’ll show you. When I cook I always try to make extra food to make my life easy. I just walked in from coaching at CrossFit Akron all morning (and I managed to get an awesome WOD in too, love my life!) and I’m starving. Luckily I had these delicious turkey burgers and leftover pumpkin ready to eat. Throw I’m half an avocado and I’m in Paleo heaven. So remember to make extra the next time you cook and you too will have a 1 minute meal.
Work hard and feed your body well! Post WOD meal of sweet potatoes, eggs, sausage, avocado, and pomegranate…..yum!
